Implementation of the Critical Ecosystems Partnership Fund (CEPF) is mid-way through Madagascar and the Indian Ocean Islands (MADIO). A program evaluation workshop was held at Carlton Antananarivo from December 3 to 5, 2019. Since 2015, more than $10.5 million has been invested in the region, 57% of which is in Madagascar. In its current phase, the initiative has contributed to the conservation of 72 Key Biodiversity Areas (Bczs) in the Hotspot.

  • Deuxième rencontre des partenaires du CEPF – Une centaine de représentants des bénéficiaires du Fonds de Partenariat pour les Ecosystèmes Critiques (CEPF) se sont retrouvés autour d’un atelier d’échanges et de renforcements de capacités à Nosy Be. Des acteurs de conservation de la biodiversité de l’Afrique du Sud, des Comores, du Kenya, de Madagascar, de Maurice et des Seychelles ont à l’occasion visité le parc marin Nosy Tanikely, la seule aire protégée financièrement autonome à Madagascar.
